Alright, if you dont want a spoliler leave now...This if for people who have seen it or want to be spoiled.................
Wow, I just saw it today at 4.30, Its too great for me to even comprehend now. So Ill just give my most favorite and least favorite part about it...
Most Favorite: Almost everything, the music, and especially the set up for Volume 2
Least Favorite: Some slow parts (like at the bar, but goddamn Uma looks hot there), and I think the main fight scene went on a little too long.

Loved it. Very bloody. Very funny.(although the assholes behind me were laughing at EVERYTHING which annoyed me because it's NOT a comedy BUT funny in a Tarantino kinda way) I need to see it again but more stoned.

Holy shit! What a fucking great movie.
Does QT like that spraying blood or what?
Gotta love an Airline that lets people have their swords on-
board, Hey wasn't that Ronnie's Airport safety idea? (It
wasn't just uma, other people had swords on the airline
too!)
I love that last kid with the sword during the Tokyo fight!
(the fight scenes were filmed in Beijing, China, while the
exteriors (not the snow garden, just the motorcycle/street
scenes) were filmed in Tokyo
Pussy Wagon? Holy fuck!
Uma is so fucking hot in Kill Bill!
Go-Go looked really funny from the side, but a hot Asian
School Girl from the front.
O-Ren is Hot too, This movie is what Chalie's angles tried to
be, I bet Lucy was happy to finally get into a good action
film.

Loved it - very cool homage to the old "Grind House" movies of the seventies. Screenplay, though, was the weakest Tarrentino has written (dialouge wise), but Uma and the style ruled.
That last second twist when the movie ended was excellent - didn't see it coming.

I don't think the movie ever really slowed down, but they needed the bar scene to explain things.
And I love how they beeped out her name when Vivica introduces the little girl to Uma.
QT has siad he wants to do 2 follow-up movies - a prequel and a sequel. The sequel would be about the kids of the main characters.

Thats because of that shnoz she's got on her.
This movie is what Chalie's angles tried to be
That was my main worry before I saw it, hoping since it was an action all-girl cast...luckily I was proven wrong.
Screenplay, though, was the weakest Tarrentino has written (dialouge wise),
Thats why I disliked the Bar scene, it was unclever humor, I expected more brilliant comedy from Tarintino.

Saw it twice loved it. The over the top violence, the cheesey catch-phrases "My name is Buck and Im here to Fuck!","Silly Rabbit Trix are for Kids." And it has a good story. Seriously I thought It would be QT's ultra violent, no plot movie, but you know what, he made something outta the simple plot. The side story of O-Ren is amazing, and I loved the anime, which I usually hate. Unlike the Matrix it leaves you at a good point, and you just know the end will kick ass.
The music stood out the most. Bang Bang (My baby shot me down) - Nancy Sinatra set the mood for the movie so well. And the techno by RZA was so good, especially the wailing siren to horn section, anthem whenever the bride saw an attacker. The whistleing pop song while Elle Driver is going to kill the bride was too catchy, The 5,6,7,8's (the jap band) had catchy songs that fitted the mood before the fight and best of all, The final fight scene song, with the Japanese/Mexican style guitar.
Overall - 2nd Best Tarantino Flick (Resevoir Dogs 1st, Pulp Fiction 3rd)
Music - Best of All Tarantino
Style - Best of All Tarantino

You know, that may be the problem right there. I hated every second of Pulp Fiction I ever saw. I have never sat through that whole movie because it sucks. I only like that scene everyone uses where Samuel preaches at those kids before he shoots them all.
Other than that the movie is boring.
Resivoir Dogs is, on the other hand, fucking awesome.

Excelent movie.
QT said volume 2 will have more of his kind of dialog and much deeper into the story.
I think the fighting scenes were amazing. The blood and gore is just incredible. I thought Go-Go was a cool character. I would have liked to see her killing more people. I still dont understand why they bleeped Black Mombas real name. I also enjoyed how it switched to japanimation when they did the backround of cotton mouth.
I'd say it's a must see!

Reed - I agree with most of what you had to say about the movie, especially this...
Unlike the Matrix it leaves you at a good point, and you just know the end will kick ass.
This ending not only left you wanting more, it also ENDED this movie! There was actually and end point, and not simply a lame "To Be Concluded," as if it were the start of an intermission, like with THE MATRIX.
Overall - 2nd Best Tarantino Flick (Resevoir Dogs 1st, Pulp Fiction 3rd)
Nah...gotta disagree with you there. While KILL BILL was fantastic and fun (and I plan to see it again tonight) and is one of the better films out there this year, there is nothing like the experience of seeing PULP FICTION opening night in an actual movie theatre, without ANY advance publicity, and letting it surprise you turn after turn. NOTHING could prepare you for any of that - the dialogue, the acting, the directing, the violence that happened out of nowhere, and the narrative style. It's been studied and duplicated and immulated many times since, and (like something like CASABLANCA) you may never have to see it without it's impact on cinema to effect you. While all of his films stand a good chance of standing the test of time, PULP FICTION will eventually be considered a classic.
by the way, if you didn't catch the fun. Deadly Vipers Assasination Squad = (DVAS) or (DiVAS) cause its all chicks, ya know, cept for madsen.
A nice homage to "Fox Force Five" - the tv show Uma's character in Pulp Fiction filmed a pilot for.

Moe, if you love "Dogs", I can't imagine how you wouldn't enjoy the fuck out of "Kill Bill". I'd compare this more to "Dogs" than with "Pulp" because of the faster pace and the more over-the-top characters.
This is easily the most fun I've had watching a movie all year. Thumbs way the shit up, bunkies.

When The Bride goes into the bathroom she opens the door and red dots flash, and then when she closes they appear again. Then when the guards open Oren's door to her suite in the Blue Leaves, red dots flash on the doors.
WHAT THE FUCK! I thought i was tripping.
Another cool thing, when the camera follows The Bride to the bathroom, up against a pillar you see two people making out, except the male party has his hand up the girls skirt......spicy!

That may have only been on your print. The movie studios "burn" the negatives so that they can tell where it was pirated from. They used to used small dots, but they don't show up on internet bootlegs, so they've been making them bigger and bigger.

I literally just got backfrom seeing it, and that's gotta be, hands down, one of the coolest movies I've seen in a good while. I can't wait to see part 2 (excellent cliffhanger ending). The action was definitely better than either Matrix. The music was really great for the scenes it was used in. I loved the "homage" to the old Chop-Sockey 70s movies and I've said it since Pulp Fiction; Uma Thurman is fuckin' cool as hell! I definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it. Tarantino hasn't lost any of his talent in the last 6 years.

They still use it but it's not really the "Theme" to Kill Bill, just used in the teaser trailer, It's also in the film but I don't think it was used as well as in that trailer. The other music in the movie ROCKED. I can't find the soundtrack in stores, gonna have to download it, sorry RIAA!

Man Kill Bill was just about the best movie i've seen in the last 2 years. I've seen it three times now and it gets better everytime. That is of course, if my friends shut up when I see it with them because they're constantly whispering about the references to anime (apparently Daryl Hannah's codename is the name of an anime) because they are anime dorks.
The only part I could've done without is the anime part, but it certainly didn't make the movie any worse. Madsen should make Volume 2 ten times better. And a sequel would be quite stupid most likely. Quentin shouldn't try too hard.

SAVE your MONEY and buy the DVD when it comes out. There's so many things going on and the movie moves too fast that you'll have to see it more than once. If you're not a fan of Tarantino- skip this flick. If you saw the trailer and said to yourself "It looks pretty good"- be warned cuz there's an anime scene, B&W footage, alot of blood, present-past-present type of storytelling, killer ass music,....forget it...just watch the movie.

MOE FINALLY SAW ANOTHER MOVIE SINCE THE 2ND STAR WARS AND IT WAS THIS FESTERING DUNG HEAP?!?!?
FUCK OFF TARENTINO!!
Seriously. I have to say that this film was BORING. One of the worst I think I've ever seen in a theatre.
1st off, the music he selects PISSED ME THE FUCK OFF! So annoying and grating. Does he think that this 70's shit he picks sets a cool mood, cause it doesn't. And that 5678 band was terrible, but maybe they were supposed to be.
The chapter thing was stupid. The annoying, high pitched music with Uma's face in it when she was looking at people was stupid. That UNCOMFORTABLY LONG scene of her waking up and crying over her lost baby was weird and strange.
FUCK YOU DOTS. FUCK YOU BEEPED OUT NAME. I was totally unimpressed. It wasn't cute or clever, it was stupid. Fuck you comic relief swordsmith before he got serious. Not funny at all. Oh, and wiggle THIS you dumb bitch. Man, Uma has never looked UGLIER in a movie. Way to take an attractive lady and dog her out.
And all these fight scenes everyone keels jizzing over were SO SHITTY I couldn't believe it. What happened to realistic fight scenes? The gallons of blood make me want to get up and leave. That Matrix/Crouching Tiger kind of fighting has RUINED action movies. I cannot suspend THAT MUCH disbelief for THAT long that Black Mamba could kill an entire Japanese gang.
HOW MUCH TIME did she spend on planes? I had jet lag leaving the Lowes. BORING. And all that shit they THOUGHT told the interesting back story only served to slow the movie down to a snail's pace. ::Snore:: wee wee wee wee BORING.
That Anime stuff in the middle was some of the crappiest anime I've seen. They only had like A BILLION dollars in the budget! Get a good animator jerk off.
Bottom line, this was a SHITTY movie that was directed POORLY. The only reason this got so much attention is that Tarentino's name is big now. I felt like I was watching a film school student's final project most of the time. He worked A LOT harder back when he HAD to. This one feels like he phoned it in.
And I LOVED Reservoir Dogs! But hated Pulp Fiction so much that I've never sat throught the whole thing once. So that's where I stand with this little jerky prick's movies.

Moe if you are serious, than you just thought the movie was going to be something else. You basically named the things that made the movie good for me. So that's where I stand with this little jerky prick's movies. www.unhallowed.com WITH A BODY OF STONE, AND A MIND LIKE... You can understand all of the homages and references and still not think it was a good movie. Personally, I'm aware of all of that. However, while I found Kill Bill 1 to be visually stunning, ultimately, on a plot and character development level, I found it ultimately pretty empty, and far short of being a "great" movie..
I got pissed when I saw Kill Bill because they announced that the character of the Bride would be played by Brooke Shields and Bill would be played by John Stamos.
