ok.....let's chat for a minute about what happened on saturday at Fenway. JUST the one incident if yo do not mind. After all is said and done. (I do not think we have to repeat it over and over again) I see a VERY upset Don Zimmer not only apologize to the Yanks and his family but also to the Red Sox and their FANS. Considering the rivalry and with all that has happened, i think that took ALOT fo class and guts to say that. No one forced him to say anything like that.

And where is Pedro? Sitting at home counting his money and writing that undisclosed check to MLB's front office not giving a shit what he said or did. He will still do it again and again. Manny ramierez is not as bad as Pedro. you will never hear him apologize to anyone for anything he did. He feels he is above everyone else including his team-mates. Prima donna piece of shit (My opinion). I hope someone kicks the crap outta him. He is all tough with a 70+ year old man, let's see how he fares against someone his size.
He is truely the epitomy of "The Pussification of America". (Liked that show throw in huh?)

Why should Marinez apologize for defending himself? What he did was civil, he could have done much worse. Zimmer started it, so I am glad to hear he apologized.

so he never apologized. he sees it as self defense. OK, if a 11 year old kid lunges at me I can head throw him and say, "I'm just defending myself, and too bad he fell. Hope he's OK."
Zimmer had class. He lunged, but he apologized - as he should. It would be nice to see Pedro's heart go along with that backbone of his.

Zimmer is like 70+ years old. He was running at Pedro at full speed. Pedro stopped him (regardless of where his hands were). The sudden change in momentum caused Zimmer to become disoriented and he fell down.
Now if Pedro wanted too, he could of done the bulldog on Zimmer on his way down or someother type of wrestling move.

All kidding aside.....hope he's okay. But seriously, should there be an age limit on coaches? (to prevent them from getting hurt- I know they love the game but someone got to look out for them). Like they talk about placing restrictions on the elderly when they drive (like the guy in San Fran who ran over people in the Fruit market).

You're forgetting that Pedro started the shit by throwing at garcia's head, then montioning to Posada that he was gonna bean him too.

If you look at where zim was when the benches cleared, you can see that he lunged at pedro to keep him away from the main brawl, not to get punches in or anything like that.

And what was the deal with Manny charging the mound on that high fastball? want some vagilsil, you overreacting pussy!!
