Or a Richard Jefferson appreciation thread.
Went to the Nets open practice yesterday at the Meadowlands...and that shit blew.....it was so unorganized and boring as compared to 3 years ago when they had activities going on outside, autograph session afterwards, and practice. I know that they sucked back then but at least they were more fan friendly (I guess you can't have it both ways).
Back to Richard Jefferson, he signed stuff for fans during the 15 minute scheduled autograph session. They had other Nets placed at other parts of the Concourse but since the line to get in was so messed up, by the time you got to where the others were, the 15 minutes was up.
After the practice session was over, most of the Nets left. Kidd signed a couple of more autographs and threw his sneakers and jersey to the crowd.
RJ stayed a little longer than Kidd and signed autographs. He also gave away his sneakers and jersey which he signed also. Out of all the NETS, RJ was the only one that seemed to give extra effort and time to the NJNET fans that showed up to meet the NETS.
So to Richard Jefferson, this Bud's for you.
Go NETS!!!
P.S. I also went to the racetrack (just in case you're wondering)....No, I didn't win.
