Can I collect unemployment benefits if I leave my job on my own accord? And is there a deadline of when to apply (after leaving job)?
Thanks.

I don't think so man. Unless you can prove you were in a working condition that you could not stand or was dangerous, and that sounds like a real problem you'd have to drag into court.

But I'm far from an expert man. I would not be surprised if there's a loophole someone used before that you could use.

Well, you could also try:
a. Beating the Shit out of yourself like Edward Norton did in 'Fight Club'
b. Blackmail the 'Efficiency expert named Brad 'How perfect is That?' like Kevin Spacey in 'American Beauty'
of course, things don't always pan out like in the movies...

Read the FAQ on that site. If you have any questions after that, call the 1-800 number.
