Pole Position wasn't that bad everything now is horriable the kids today don't know what a good cartoon is Saterday or weekday they all sux
Ultimate Muscle is painfully bad so is Teen Titans they are so infused with Japamation that they make no sence (all the stupid facial expresions especially in Muscle and gaysha(sp) girls that just pop up in the middle of a scene) Teen Titans is trying so hard to be american teenagers it is anoying and i think that for being a comic based show the art work sux. Yugio and Pokemon are not as bad as the first two but they are pure advertizement for the games, not like when we were growing up gijoe and transformers were not advertizements for the toys but they never told us to go to your local game store and pick up card packs Basicly any of the japanese inported cartoon sux granted the girls are hot but that is not the point the shows sux AND YES I KNOW I SPELL LIKE SHIT

There were two that involved the robot craze of the mid 1980's. One of course was the Go-Bots which was just a poor mans Transformers. And then there was another one where the robots came togther into one giant robot, AND NOT VOLTRON. And each robot had a different personality (One who ate too much, etc). It was on ABC and I cant think of its name for the life of me, but I remember it too was pretty bad as well

the worst Saturday morning cartoon was the perils of Penelope Pitstop. A gay guy named the "hooded claw" ( what does that mean , was he uncircumscised or something?) is after a cute young piece of ass, with a bunch of midgets trying to protect her . And if that wasnt enough , they managed to squeeze a little car racing in.

Why does New York Radio SUCK So Bad?

Good call, AJ...that's exactly what I was thinking of when I posted...well, that, and Mama Cass' horrible guest spot on an episode of "Scooby-Doo". Thye even made her HANDS fat.

That "Lazer Tag" show was really awful...so was "Pac Man". Actually, most 80's cartoons based on novelty toys or video games stunk on ice. "Rubik The Cube", "Shirt Tales", "Q-Bert", "Monchichis"..and though the game ruled, the "Dragon's Lair" cartoon was ASS.

Ultimate Muscle is painfully bad

I dunno if I agree with that! I think Ultimate MUSCLE is pretty good, but the writing is a bit lousy at times. It's like they try so hard to be funny in a serious moment. With most imported anime to the US, you'd probably need to see it in it's original form. It's not quite as hacked as Sailor Moon, but nothing else was.

Getting back on track, Saturday Supercade was horrible at times, and they had all sorts of Smurfs ripoffs too because the Smurfs was the most popular Saturday morning toon of the 80s. Monchichis was pretty bad.

I concur with the posts talking about cartoons based on music acts being really bad. I've never seen the Beatles cartoon so I don't know about that, though.

I saw Funky Cops twice. I know why they call it "Funky" Cops, and not because of it's 70s theme :P

It wasn't, but I agree. It really sucked :)

Here is another couple that sucked:

Captain N and the Game Master. What the heck did they do to Mega Man???

The Littles? Cheese. Pure Cheese.

I used to dislike A Pup named Scooby Doo, but lately I've just been watching it a lot on Cartnoon Network. No idea why.. it was underrated. I mute the 'musical' chase scenes, though. That's probably why I didn't like it at first.

OK, you are right. But it was on during a block of Sat. AM cartoons, and this one was the first that came to mind that truly BLEW. Also not a cartoon, but equally sucky...

Sigmond the Seamonster.

Now this is a category in which I am somewhat expert. Bionic Stooges Away? Anything that can make a kid not like the stooges is bad.
Honorable Mention to Captain Caveman in every incarnation. He took a turd on the Flinstones and his own show. Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels? I think not!
Anyone else remember the Thing Cartoon where the dorky kid has a magic ring that turns him into the Thing. Extra credit super-geek points if you remember the catch phrase.

I didn't see anything, I didn't hear anything, I wasn't there and if I was there I was asleep.

I also think Ookla the Mock should have had his own show.

I know I will catch flack for this one, but I always hated the friggin Smurfs. I guess they were after my time thank God. That friggin song like nails on a chalk board.

I don't even think they have Saturday morning cartoons on the networks anymore. Back in the day NBC, ABC, and CBS were loaded from 8am to noon every Saturday morning.

that don't make you a geek, that makes you someone who has watched too much cartoon network.

I always loved A Pup Named Scooby Doo and Wacky Racers or whatever. Those were some kickass cartoons. I did hate GI Joe and Gargoyles though. I get flack for that all the time.
