Academy Award winning actor Robert De Niro, 60, has been diagnosed with prostate cancer , but his prospects for a full recovery are good, his publicist announced on Monday.

I liked his earlier movies, but do not care much for his work the past 10 years or so, with few exceptions. He can die slowly, for all I care, his career already has. And why give him celebrity treatment - let him Die, a person I know in the neighborhood died of prostate cancer, so - what - I should cry over DeNiro as if he is something special? No way, for my money he can get all choked up over the chemo and puke his guts out until they are inside out and then they can bury the whole mess.

My husband and I took our kids to the Museum of Natural History yesterday. We had lunch at a pasta place nearby and DeNiro and his girlfriend came in and sat a couple of tables away from us. He looked great and I was thinking this is such a cool celebrity siting. Everytime my husband asked me something I kept saying ' are you talking to me?'. We had such a good day, and seeing Bobby D. made it that much more fun. Man, I hope everthhing goes alright for him.

The Media wants to rule me, and I will not let them. I do not HAVE to Care about Robert DeNiro, just because I am a fan of his early works. I can enjoy him as an actor, and be impassive about him as a person. That means that I do not HAVE to Care if he is Dying.

This is not a "shockulent" notion, or something that is ethereally meant to rile you or cause a fight. Notwithstanding that, however much I may not like you as a person, based upon your many comments here, that does not mean that I want to "start" something with you, especially since you just arrived here to this discussion, apparently stalking to cause trouble. But I am not going toe to toe with that kind of rancor - I am just telling you that DeNiro's impending death is low low down on my list of interests.
