Here's why (according to DCRTV):

El Jefe Show Canned - 10/21 - DCRTV hears that "El Jefe's Hideout," the sex-oriented Saturday evening talk show on WJFK-FM, has been dumped. After a half-year run. Only a few weeks ago, the show was moved to an 8 PM start time. It originally aired after midnight. The show's demise comes just two days after DCRTV webmaster Dave Hughes was a guest and made some jokes about management at the Infinity station. Any connection? We don't know. We assume that "El Jefe" will continue his duties as a producer of the "Ron And Fez" show at 106.7.....

I was listening to the Sport Junkies this morning. They didn't call him by name, but apparently the "El Jefe is fired," thing is just a radio hoax. At least, that what their producer says.

My brother has been shot.... I think it was an Asian gang.... there was this guy.... he was Asian.... they were speaking in some different language, I think it was.... Asian.

El Jeffe continues to offer his humorless dreck as entertainment on the "Hideout" and the only thing making Dubs funny is the wit of Ron and Fez, when he's on their show. Neither one of these losers can stand on their own without some real radio talent surrounding them. Now the Hideout has added Tommy (the pseudo-heterosexual) as another show member with nothing funny or interesting to say.......quite a cast! Congratulations on this ratings grabber, JFK. By the way El Jeffe, could you say your own name a few more times during your show? I lost count at 48 times in the first hour alone. I counted how many times Stern mentioned his own name today ....zero! Saying your own name over and over during a broadcast doesn't make you more endearing to the listeners, asshole!
