How does it stay in business? Who's paying for it? Surely somebody is. Are these the same people that keep spam in my inbox?
Who is so lonely, stupid and has enough money? You would think that the number of people having all three of those things would be pretty small but I guess it's not.

You know, that is a good question. Because I have never and will NEVER PAY for porn on the comp. Between Kaaza, Google image search and some other shit people I know have sent me I have enough porn.
And even if they sell my name to spammers, how do they really make money? I don't even open their mail, EVER. Let alone buy what they're sending me.

i always open the porn spam mail. something about the subject saying "young hot lesbians want you" or "their Russian and their loose" makes me open them up. just to get the same link everytime.

I just got thinking about where these people's money is coming from if everyone I've ever talked to get their internet porn for free and usually filter their spam out so they never even look at it.
Why is Publisher's Clearing House still around? Why are there so many infomercials and telemarketers?
Somebody somewhere keeps buying all this shit. If everybody was ignoring them they'd just go away.

It is a pretty good question, but I don't know how anything on the internet makes money. Whatever is out there to buy, you cand spend an extra 10 minutes and find for free (music, porn, games, programs, fantasy sports, information...). Maybe the ignorant AND lazy pay for these things?

I hate pop-up porn ads. It's the worst when a family member is right next to you and a 10-inch penis ad appears all of a sudden on the screen.
However, even though its advertising can be annoying, porn is probably one of the most ingenious businesses out there.

You are right, and the truth is, I have had about 6 beers earlier this evening at 2 seperate establishments. And one scotch in there somewhere as well. But that disgusting behavior by mdr55 just irked me, I had to amend the rules a bit to allow me to use that word. So, technically, no foul.
