If they were I'd get satellite radio myself, unfortunately they currently are not.

i have to say, of all the shows left in the wnew void, i find that duo to be the most informative/entertaining .... a little geeky, but intriguing as all heck

Don't count on it. WNEW are very happy with the format they have now, so I doubt they'd fund R&F's move to XM. Since when HAVE they given money willingly to R&F, anyway? I think that if somebody would pay for it themselves... Whatever it takes. I'll even sleep with an eighty year old man w/ Gout if it means XM.

It IS possible to be on normal broadcast radio AND Satellite radio. I believe that Bubba the Love Sponge's show is not only broadcast and syndicated, but also on one of the major satellite carriers.

However, I'm guessing the main reason why R&F aren't a viable option on satellite radio is because of an Infinity cock-blocking, more than anything else.

Things will change when O&A get to Sirius. Things will be shaken up.

All of my sources point directly at "O & A" going to Sirius as well. Just out of curiosity is there another logical, feasible means that they may make their return on ?

Makes me happy I have XM... ;)

Anyway, this is from DCRTV

O&A To Sirius? - 10/30 - A bunch of Infinity people (from both DC's WJFK and NYC's WNEW) have recently jumped to NYC's Sirius satellite radio. And there have been rumors that dethroned PM drive duo Opie and Anthony (once heard on both WJFK and WNEW) might be moving to a sat radio outlet when their contract with Infinity expires. Coincidence? Hmmm.....

I got Sirius satelite radio a few months ago. Except for the blues station and one or two of the news stations it kinda sucks. I was hoping the comedy channel would be good but unless you like Margret Cho and Jeff Foxworthy it sucks too.( And they are the worst!)
For $13 a month plus what it cost to get it installed, I dont think its worth it. Maybe XM is etter.

Always remeber the Man In Black.

Batchleor and Alexander?! Dear God someone help this man! Give him two cc's of Michael Savage, STAT!

They took my O and A, they took my R and F, but they will NEVER take my freedom!

I read recently XM just passed the one million subscriber mark and Sirius has 250,000 subscribers.

If O&A go to Sirius, 250,000 is not a lot of people for the whole country. And that's just subscribers, people listening at any given time to any show will be a small fraction of that. Even if a few thousand of their die-hard fans enroll, that's still not a lot of people and most of them won't be able to listen at work. I don't see how they would be able to be paid much money.

O&A may not have too many options but I think R&F are better off at WJFK.
