On AMC Holloween 4 is following Holloween 3 which just ended. I always thought adding part 3 into the series was misleading and retarded, but they did it. Anyway, tis the season to watch good horror flicks. I'll watch this cause I loved the first 2 but after that parts 4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14 etc are all mixed up for me, and id like to s how they picked up from part 2 to continue it. They Live is on after this. Youd think "Creepshow" would be on somewhere, but i havnt seen that movie on TV since the time it came out. Any other good flicks coming on the next few days?

"They Live!" too? sweet.

Sounds like a John Carpenter thing; he directed the first Halloween and maybe a couple more, and "They Live" [best acting by a wrestler ever in my opinion = roddy piper in this flick. its cheezy but i love it.]

He also did "The Thing" actually a remake, and just SO Superbly Gross. Kurt Russell ruled. As he did as Snake Plisken in the Awesome "Escape from NY" and the Horrific "Escape from LA"

"The Fog" which came after he became huge with Halloween but was a disappointment for most. I love it. Adrienne Barbeau was So taggable then. Had Janet leigh and Jamie Leigh too, and not as mom and daughter.

Sheesh i'm a bad horror movie nerd.

I'm all about Halloween movies-- except for Halloween 3. The suckiest 96 minutes of my life. EVER!

A month-long stream of horror films is all part of why Halloween is my favorite holiday. TCM (very much superior to AMC in my opinion) has been showing a lot of the great old films, including several classics from Hammer Studios as well as such legendary old-school horror flicks as Todd Browning's "Freaks" (which aired tonight, in fact).

The Horror Channel should be starting up early next year, and if my cable provider does not carry it, I may go homicidal. I'm horror mark #1.

That movie "Freaks" is a trip. Real Disturbing. Wasnt it banned for a while?

I miss Joel and Dr. Forrester and TVs Frank and Cambot and Crowe T. Robot and Tom Servo and the Invention Exchange and the funny short films from the 50s on manners and posture pals and kids rodeo...

I have about 80 of the old ones with Joel and Mike[Mike was awesome, but come on, Joel created the whole deal]

Halloween 3 sucked ass!

But my favorite movie of that genre isn't actually a movie that's scary, it's Young Frankenstein.

Little Shop of Horrors rules also.

Halloween 3, taken as a seperate movie, is a great flick.
That " Eight More Days To Halloween ... " song kicks ass.
The movie gets a bad rap because it didnt have Michael Myers.
In actuality it wasnt supposed to be known as Halloween at all.
It was a seperate movie altogether.
Moustafa Akkad ( sp ?? ), the producer of Halloween and Haloween 2, wanted the name added to it to make more people go see it.
That first robot that kills the girls father is Dick Warlock, the same guy who played The Shape.
