Was great!!! THe characters were hilarious, and the musical guests kicked ass! Floyd played a mean piano, and The Ramones were on the show often.
I remember when Joe Franklin sued Floyd for doing the "Joe Frankfurter" bit. What a classic show...where have you gone, Looney Skip Rooney?

Uncle Floyd owns Vivino's (a restaurant) located in the Holiday Inn on Rt 46 in Wayne NJ.

If you're feeling nostalgic, don't forget to listen to Uncle Floyd's intro music.

CLASSIC CTN JERSEY TV!!! I remember the opening music bit (gawd I was like 5 years old) and a character called Bruce Stringbean...truly a comic genious...not too long ago I heard him on the radio DJ'ing on NJ101.5 (maybe 5-6 years ago) but thats all I have heard out of him...is there any place to see reruns of that old show?

Muggsy was one of my faves, I also always liked Mr. Hugo, the bald doll that danced.

This is one of the shows that I would love to have on video for my collection. Like the Heckler said, the Ramones were on, but also bands like Squeeze and NRBQ.

Heckler, don't I recall the Ramones lip-synching "I Don't Wanna Be Buried In A Pet Cemetary" badly on the show?

Hugo dancing on the show killed me, especially after a few J's. He had me howling with laughter, I never knew why, he just did.
As for the Ramones, they lip synched all the time..remember that heavy black guy who played keyboards on wheels and sang?
I can't remember his name.

It wouldn't be the same. How do you "visualize" Hugo dancing across the screen at he end of the show.

Just kidding,UF is the real deal when it comes to entertaining Pinheads.

P.S. Could somebody PLEASE write down the lyrics of "Deep in the Heart of Jersey" for me!?I friggin' loved that song.(or at least tell me where to find it).

Deep In The Heart Of Jersey
words by F.Vivino and C.Charlie

Oh the factory smoke, will make you choke
Deep in the Heart of Jersey
The City rats run in big packs
Deep in the Heart of Jersey
The Pizza man says, "I no understand"
Deep in the Heart of Jersey
And route 17, the traffic there is mean
Deep in the Heart of Jersey

The city skies ain't fit for flies
Deep in the Heart of Jersey
The Parkway man takes a quarter from your hand
Deep in the Heart of Jersey
The dumps in June ain't like perfume
Deep in the Heart of Jersey
But it's my state and I think it's great
Deep in the Heart of Jersey
Way out west in wild new jersey
Yippi Yi Yay!

Thank you so much!!!A.J. You have made an old man happy.(Don't get old ,ya see what turns you on!?).
I always thought that one line was "The City rats are as big as cats".But it really doesn't matter. Now I have the whole song to proudly sing again!

When those idiots around hear try to make "Born to Run" the State song,I'm pettitioning for "Deep in the Heart of Jersey". After all who can relate to drag racing on Highway 9?

Thanks again.

I just had to log back on.I can't get this picture outta my head. The Cowboy Charlie skit was one of the few that used a "blue"screen. The cowboy outfit, western backdrop, the big ears!

I turned my old man on to Floyd back then.He was older then than I am now.We shared many half hours laughing together thanks to Floyd and the gang.Talk about quality time.

This is exactly what Mike and the Mechanics was talking about.
