I talked to some "guy" (at least I thought he was) a while back.

Talked about the Super Bowl and he says he doesn't watch football. I said well at least you watch the Super Bowl right? He says no, he and his girlfriend usually go to the mall that day.

WHAT? I've never known anyone like that. Even my mom watches the Super Bowl and she doesn't understand the first thing about football.

First time for everything I guess. I just assumed everything stopped on that day.

Same here, I could never get into watching Soccer. I go to the movies or out instead.

Even if the matchups suck, I'll watch it just for the new commercials that'll be on.

That and to bet on stupid stuff like the coin toss, will the first person to score be white or black or have an odd or even number on his jersey.

my mom and siss hate the superbowl, they never watch.

i usually watch the superbowl unless its not even worth it. when isnt it worth it? when the niners have to dismantle the chargers, or the cowboys against the steelers, or the broncos against atlanta those games arent worht my time. but its the same thing with the NBA finals to me. i love basketball more than football, but even i couldnt watch la and the pacers or even watch the nets get swept by LA, but everyother finals i watch.

I watch it very passively most of the time because it's almost always a crap matchup. I probably watch more of the AFC title game, because I have to see if my AFC champion picking streak is still alive (it's been 8 years now). I didn't even watch the entire drubbing that MY RAVENS gave the Giants. It depressed me that the 5th best NFC team made it to the Super Bowl (or at least it was the fifth most entertaining matchup that the Super Bowl could've been)

I never watch he Superbowl. I never got into football at all; also hockey sucks imo. Baseball and basketball are my sports. Soccer is for pussies!
