(Almost) everyone agrees that the earth is getting hotter. The real question is "why"? Is it a result of natural cycles or is man responsible. I personally think that the earth is going through a cyclical change that is being slightly accelerated by fossil fuels and other forms of pollution. I'm very pro-environment, I just don't think that the "greenhouse" story is 100% true.

The world goes through cycles of temperature extremes. Ice ages and global tropic temperatures. It is these cycles that enabled animals to evolve and adapt to the environment that lead to our own development. Its a pipe dream to think that we effect everything, while I agree that we use to not behave to whats in the future envorinments best interest, I can say that the world today is cleaner and less polluted than it has been for over a hundred years.

Wasn't there a thread about the Global Warming thing being a farce a few months back. I thought the all knowing Too Cute mentioned something in there about that. I don't feel like seraching now though.
I woke up today and seriously thoguht I missed Christmas AND Winter. I tuened on WIP and there was baseball talk on a Monday following an Eagles win. That is strange enough that there is little football talk these past couple weeks. Then I hear trade and Billy Wagner and I was thinking it was March and I missed it all but got my present. Strange indeed!
We'll be seeing between 272 and 283 kelvin by the weekend. Oh yeah, -1C to 10C.

There I was, working outside all day in short pants, with my t-shirt off, just sweating like a motherfucker.
I worked till dark, then drove through downtown Fredericksburg where they've got the Christmas lights up on all the trees.
