One thing I've always found strange is that some people think that if there is someone whom they admire greatly ( a "hero" if you will), they believe they must agree with everything this person says or does. Some would call it "blind worship". It baffles me.
For example, one of my greatest musical heroes is Keith Richards; his guitar playing inspired me to begin playing, and inspires me to continue to do so. Keith is also a brutally honest man, and will speak his mind openly and honestly in interviews, caring little who he offends in the process. I love him for this. Would I live my life like he did, shooting heroin, snorting coke, and drinking and smoking my brains out every day? Of course not. That's what weekends are for.
But seriously, do you know what I mean? You've gotta draw the line somewhere and seperate the person from the accomplishments. I guess Dave Grohl put it best when he sang "There goes my hero, he's ordinary"
