Wow, this is just chilling. This guy, now dubbed "The Green River Killer", has fuckin' put himself at the top of the charts as the bloodiest serial killer in American history:
48 murders. What a sick bastard...

*Crazy Fuck (http://apnews.myway.com/article/20031105/D7UKK06G0.html)*

<IMG SRC="http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20031105/capt.ny12311050903.green_river_killings_ny123.jpg">
This guy puts Dahmer and Berkowitz to shame.

"I hate most prostitutes and I did not want to pay them for sex," he said. "I also picked prostitutes as victims because they were easy to pick up without being noticed. I knew they would not be reported missing right away and might never be reported missing. I picked prostitutes because I thought I could kill as many of them as I wanted without getting caught."

Though not quite as bad as THIS nut bag, officially THE worst serial killer in modern history...

http://website.lineone.net/~tymaloney/picture20.jpg

...Andrei Chikatilo AKA "Citizen X".

Killed at least 53 boys and girls in the Soviet Union before he was caught. The craziest part is that the USSR refused to publicly admit that they had a serial killer on their hands (In their minds, that could only be a product of the "decadent west"), and so they hindered their own investigators, and probably allowed this ass to chalk up another dozen or so victims.

CITIZEN X (http://website.lineone.net/~tymaloney/chikatilo.htm)

HBO made a film about him in the mid-90's, starring Stephen Rhea, Donald Sutherland and Mx Von Sydow. It's a great, great film, real creepy watch.

Tomorrow will be 13 years since the Russian guy was caught for the last time. The American guy gives serial killers a bad name. It's his kind of stupidity that I hate about some serial killers. He's not nearly crazy enough for it even to be entertaining. The Russian guy is a true serial killer. Completely and absolutely nuts

I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums.

Phil Collin's solo efforts seem to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying in a narrower way, especially No Jacket Required and songs like "In the Air Tonight" and "Against All Odds" (though that song was overshadowed by the masterful movie from which it came) and "Take Me Home" and "Sussudio" (great, great song; a personal favorite) and his remake of "You Can't Hurry Love," which I'm not alone in thinking is better than the Supremes' original. But I also think that Phil Collins works better within the confines of the group than as a solo artist---and I stress the word artist. In fact it applies to all three members of the band, because Genesis is still the best, most exciting band to come out of England in the 1980's.

Well, take me back down where cool water flow, yeh.
Let me remember things I love.
Stoppin' at the log where catfish bite,
walkin' along the river road at night,
barefoot girls dancin' in the moonlight.

I can hear the bull frog callin' me.
Wonder if my rope's still hangin' to the tree.
Love to kick my feet way down the shallow water,
shoe fly, dragon fly, get back to your mother.
Pick up a flat rock, skip it across Green River.

Up at Cody's camp I spent my days, oh,
with flat car riders and cross-tie walkers.
Old Cody, Junior took me over,
said, you're gonna find the world is smould rin
an' if you get lost come on home to Green River.

Huey Lewis and the News burst out of San Francisco onto the national music scene at the beginning of the decade, with their self-titled rock-pop album released by Chrysalis, though they really didn't come into their own, commercially or artisticaly, until their 1983 smash, Sports. Though their roots were visible (blues, Memphis soul, country) on Huey Lewis and the News they seemed a little too willing to cash in on the late seventies/early eighties taste for New Wave, and the album---though it's still a smashing debut---seems a little too stark, too punk. Examples of this being the drumming on the first single, "Some of My Lies Are True (Sooner or Later)," and the fake handclaps on "Don't Make Me Do It" as well as the organ on "Taking a Walk." Even though it was a little bit strained, their peppy boy-wants-girl lyrics and the energy with which Lewis, as a lead singer, instilled in all the songs were refreshing. Having a great lead guitarist like Chris Hayes (who also shares vocals) doesn't hurt either. Hayes' solos are as original and unrehearsed as any in rock. Yet the keyboardist, Sean Hopper, seemed too intent on playing the organ a little too mechanically (though his piano playing on the second half of the album gets better) and Bill Gibson's drumming was too muted to have much impact. The songwriting also didn't mature until much later, though many of the catchy songs had hints of longing and regret and dread ("Stop Trying" is just one example).

Green River - Swallow My Pride

She looked at me with dignity, said
"Baby there's one thing you've gotta see
Even though we're headed for war
this nation's prouder than ever before
Yes, there's a sprit in the air
We're more American than anywhere."
Well, I just smiled 'cause I could tell
This little girl's going to hell

All the warmth in her heart can't keep
My blood from running cold
First I fell for her looks
Now I just wanna go for the throat
I tried to tell her a hundred times
This little girl didn't understand at all
Pride comes before a fall

Now I wouldn't mind if you swallow my pride
Make me feel all right, deep inside
Feel all right
Pride comes before a fall

This ain't the summer of love (4x)
I don't know what you're thinking of
This ain't the summer of love

This ain't the garden of Eden
There ain't no angels above
Things ain't what they used to be
This ain't the summer of love

This ain't the garden of Eden
There ain't no angels above
Things ain't what they used to be
This ain't the summer of love
This ain't the summer of fun

Mayhem.net says Pedro Alonso Lopez is the most prolific serial killer ever. But they also list Jack Kervorkian as a serial killer so take it for what it is...

Pedro Alonso Lopez (300+) Meet the deadliest serial killer of the Archives. Pedro was known as the "Monster of the Andes" after the impressive numbers of hits he tallied in his three-nation killing spree. A native of Colombia, his prostitute mother kicked him out of their home at age eight for fondling his younger sister. Adding insult to injury he was then picked up by a pedophile and sodomized against his will. By the time he was eighteen he was gang banged in prison and retaliated by killing three of his assailants.

Upon his release he started killing young girls with glee and impunity. By 1978 he claimed to have bagged more than 100 girls in Peru. After a brush with an angry village mob he moved his activities to Colombia and Ecuador where his blood lust averaged about three kills a week. He found killing Ecuadorian girls quite enjoyable because they were "more gentle and trusting, more innocent." Authorities attributed the rash of disappearing girls to active slavery or prostitution rings in the area.

In 1980 a flash flood uncovered the first of his victims. When he was arrested he told his interrogators the frightening tale of his reign of death. At first authorities were skeptical, but all doubts disappeared when he quickly produced more than fifty graves. It is widely believed that three hundred hits is a low estimate for this most prolific serial killer.

It makes you wonder if its the toll of people dead that occur at someones own hand that makes a person a serial killer or if the #s of dead that are the result. If thats the case, wouldnt Hitler be considered a mass murderer? What figure has the most #s of dead under their responsibility? Id imagine in China or Russia theres been leaders that are responsible for the murders of millions.

Id say so, but was wondering if the definition holds true. Its like, if you order someone to kill someone, and they do it, are you responsible or are they? Id imagine if you were in a position to command and your orders couldnt be refused and you order a murder, that youd be just as responsible as the one who carried out the act.

But as far as sick in the head goes, killing yourself makes you more aof a sicko then if you just give an order. Its just that maybe he covered the mouth while someone else stabbed the dude in the chest. Just as bad.

serial killer n.

A person who attacks and kills victims one by one in a series of incidents.

that's from dictionary.com
therefore a traditional terrorist is not a serial killer. Serial killers kill one by one. And the attacking part eliminates Hitler and other leaders who are guilty of genocide. If anything a soldier is a serial killer. That's why serial killing to me is more reputable than bullshit suicide bombings or ordering people to kill for you. Of course there's also the killing of women and children that then makes it less reputable, but still more so than indirectly killing people. I can find almost nothing wrong with the killing of men. That's why Patrick Bateman is to a degree a best case scenario when it comes to serial killing. He kills EVERYONE

most of that sounds so deranged...
