Howard is breaking his no talk show guest rule and returning to late night by appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman tonight on CBS!

Should be interesting with Dave recently becoming a father.

He must be getting desperate, he's number 3 even in New York. Then again, outside of NY, Stern isn't doing that great either.

Dave's ratings have been slipping. Howard doing what's right by CBS because he knows it'll bring big ratings. Plus I'm sure he's hoping for a late night spot down the road and wants to remind folks of that. I don't see that happening since his Saturday night shows were horrible.

Howard Who??? Oh THAT guy. Old & boring, blah, blah, blah. How do y'all still listen to him? I don't get it, you come here so you obviously have a sense of humor. Is he really cutting edge to you???

All I know is, Ferrall was talking about "big rack" "workin an angle" & "bustin off thumbs". He laughed, he cried, he made strange sounds. FUNNY!!!EDGY!!!FERRALLY!!!

Actually I do listen to some Howard at work while I tape Ferrall's show. I say "Be more funny Howard!!!"

he quickly mentioned the minty ass thing. said something to the effect of the ads on his show aren't as classy as they used to be. but that was about it.

i thought his appearance was good. pretty funny

Yeah this morning he said he wasn't allowed to do product placement, some FCC rule "plugola". CBS lawers were all up his ass. If he didn't mention it on the radio show he could have done it.

Stern best appearance since he was on Magic's old show. He actually seemed relaxed and could hang with Dave comically for the first time in years. I never thought the Miss America shit was funny and that book sucked too.
