Sorry to hear about your wife.

You've done the right thing keeping a treatment journal. It will help document the claim. Pain, suffering, loss of consortium (sexual services), physical and emotional distress, lost wages, etc may be sought in a lawsuit. I'm assuming that you already filed on her behalf and on yours.

No lawyer can guarantee the dollar amount of any settlement, or even if a settlement will even be offered, even in circumstances where fault seems clear, as the circumstances of each accident are different from all that preceded it.

Hit from behind on honeymoon. Based on these facts you and your wife should recieve "something," either from a jury or a settlement. It would be foolish to speculate further.
