This is a truly honest question. I really don't understand it. I guess I sort of, with tax cuts and raising taxes, but does that effect it that much?

Ron and Fez were the last hosts purged from the WNEW-FM hot talk era, and ever since they left their fans have been trying to get some station to bring them back to town.

On a basic and immediate level, confidence. If a president is in charge during a good economy, or is viewed as being strong economically, when he, say, announces a new economic plan, it'll tend to inspire buyer confidence and the market will strengthen. If a president isn't economically confident, well, it's often the opposite.

This is a very simple example, and I'm sure others can do more, but it's a start...

I NEVER post in the forum. Forgive me, I'm just a girl.

I know the bare minimum of economics-- what goes up, must come down. When Clinton was in office, I had so much more money. But then again he didn't deal with Middle East very well. Remember The SS Cole?

9/11 was an anomaly. It was the first time we've ever dealt with an attack on the mainland. The economy was going to suffer no matter WHO was in office.

Just my 2 cents. I post the obvious.

dont pay attention to them keith they are fuckin around

the president really has no effect on the economy at all. it all has to do with congress and the federal reserve. tell people that no descision that the president makes does anything. its not like bush has had any reason for our economy being shitty now right?

Alice, although thats true, 9/11 would have hit the economy no matter who was there, most smart people wouldnt have proceeded to cut taxes and then go into a major war

The formula for economic success by a president can be found in The Clinton Model.

It's hard to argue with THE GREATEST ECONOMIC BOOM OF ALL TIMES!
