Fame is something a lot of people, probably most people want. Some might say they don't but in reality, they probably want recognition for what they do. I was looking in the newspapers a couple days ago and the big thing was that on Weakest Link the contestants were Contestants from Fear Factor.
Have we really become a society so in need of people to do profiles on that Game Show Contestants are now, even in a very very low level sort of way, celebrities? Survivor, Big Brother, now Fear Factor. People on Jeopardy! never did the Talk Show rounds. Talk shows used to have has been stars and now they are making stars out of average people who don't really deserve it.
