Why is there Nonoxynol-9 in shaving cream?

For those of you unawares, Nonoxynol-9 is a spermicide. It's used with condoms to help prevent pregnancies.

While shaving a few weeks ago, with Gilette Foamy, I noticed that Nonoxynol-9 was in my shaving cream.

Why is that? I'm sure there's a ton of lubricants that can be used in shaving cream...

Ive just been using soap when I shave my sack. My face I use soap too, not shaving cream. Not bar soap necessarily, I use the hand soap in the dispencer and never have had any ill effects aside from saving some money.
