Friday's Show (Live at Dave and Busters) around 7:45 or so. He said Fezzy needed more sleep. I don't remember hearing anything directly said about changing their schedule. I may have been nothing, but I didn't hear the whole show on Thursday or Friday and thought I missed something.

Yeah, he had asked the crowd "How many people listen to the 11AM show?" After that he said something like "Yeah, I'm really going to miss that".

I don't know if this means a strictly 7-11 show or maybe a move to 11-3.

I heard Ron make the comment and asked him about it after the show. He said he was just joking. But did say it was tiring doing both shows.

Definitely a Ron joke. But we never know what the FUTURE holds, now do we?

Did they spend last night's 10-11PM hour recording the 11AM show for today?

That would be a plan. Show up for work at 7pm, do the live show until 10. and then from 10-11 play the same days 11:00 am show which was taped the day before, while taping the show for the next morning's 11:00 am show.

Would work except for Monday's 11:00 am show. It's news based and can't be 3 days behind.

Although Monday they could do a live 11:00 am show. It might not be as hard as other days because the Monday evening show is only 3 hours.

Then Monday through Thursday they could do the fastest hour in radio as their final hour of the evening show. Friday would be a normal 4 hour show.

What a confusing schedule. They won't have any real good time off to just chill. Just give them one air shift and let 'em sleep...

Regardless of the future of the 11am show, I have a sneaking suspicion that a long-term split-shift is not in the cards for our heroes. Then again, we Ron and Fez fans have learned to be flexible, haven't we?

Another thing we've learned is that an hour of caller-free uncut funk from Ron and Fez is da bomb, indeed. While they may still have the best callers in radio, sometimes I feel we listeners can bring the show to a screeching halt. Very much like the mean Italian kids in Breaking Away who shove the air pump into Dave Stoller's spokes. Memo to bad callers: Stop shoving your air pumps into Ron and Fez's spokes! Or perhaps New Wardy needs to be more trenchant on the phones.

In summation, I think the 11 am format is boss. If WFJK crap cans the morning show, I would still love for them to open each evening show with an hour of uninterrupted riffing on the day's events.

This is true. But that Comedy Pyramid about Governor Arnold's campaign promises last night was GOLDEN.

So what is the schedule now? are they doing the 11:00 am show the night before or rerunning the l11:00am show from the same day at 10:00 pm?

And what's with today's 11:00 am show? The Funk Brothers?

I thought it was great to hear that interview. The Funk Brothers were awesome, I have not seen the movie yet has anyone else seen it.

Vacation? Why? they only have two jobs a day. When they have at least 4, then okay take a break...

I guess I shouldn't complain but I found the interview to be boring. Not enough Ron and Fez being Ron a Fez, but I get it, it's nice to shake it up...
