who are you telling to get rid of him? Is NY to revolt and kill Cheney? You said it yourself, he's Layden and Dolan's yes-man. So they are not going to get rid of him.

There's no doubt that the KNICKS need to fire the top office and start fresh, but who is actually out there that can come in and straighten shit out? I mean serious, all the east coast teams took all the decent top office guys and there's really nobody left out there! THAT'S the sad part.


As far as coaches go, bring back Van Gundy, making money no object. He is the best coach out there right now.

Doc Rivers sucks. People give him props for being a classy guy. But his coaching skills sucks. He hasn't done anything more for that team than any of the the other coaches who were there after Shaq left the Orlando Magic.

now im sure your all going to laugh at me for this, but i think it would be an excellent move in my opinion, i would really like to see dolan sell the team to P.Diddy, hes a successful buisness man, that has had a lot of interest in buying the franchise in the past, and i think he would really care about seeing the team win, and not just making money, you fire Layden and bring in a former Knicks player...i mean, why not, he can't be any worse then Layden right? I would love to see John Starks as the new Knicks GM....as far as the coaching issue guys, i really dont think Rivers is a terrible choice, but i would have rather gotten any of the coaches available this off season over Rives, i mean i think Dunleavy couldve done a great job with this team, especially since there is talent here, instead hes out in LA wasting himself.

if u didnt like my doc rivers idea you're definitely not going to like this one: we need a point guard. this is common knowledge, how about penny hardaway? i remember him carrying the magic to the finals in 95, i've always loved him as a player, he was a stellar defender he led the league in steals for a couple of years. and hes saying that he's healthy, and that he can pull a 'vin baker-like turnaround. i admit his contract is large, but the knicks are used to overpaying. trade van horn and charlie ward for him and hope the suns eat some of his contract. penny would be a big point guard, and he would be able to speed up a slow knicks team, and improve their piss poor defense.
