Since a lot of the visitors to this site are just starting to look for a job or are in college, I want to issue you a warning. This is my personal opinion and has nothing to do with ronfez.net.

There is a company called "Primerica Financial Services" (PFS). They might tell you they're Citigroup. They are NOT (they are a subsidiary). They'll find your resume on the internet and call you, saying something like. "Hi! I saw your resume and would like you to interview with my VP for a financial services position!" (even though you have a degree in something like Botany). You go in for an interview and they tell you you'll make $100,000 a year selling financial products and recruiting new employees.

Oh yeah, but you have to pay $199 for a class to get "licensed" to sell life insurance. Then you have to give them a list of your friends and family, so your boss can call them and harass them until they buy some life insurance (at a ridiculous cost) from Primerica. You won't make any money off of that. Your boss does. Oh, and you'll be paying for ALL of your business expenses too. This is a PYRAMID scheme. Only the people at the top make any money. They want you to recruit more people to pay the $199 fee. Then they make money off of the people you recruit! Primerica runs like a cult.

I feel passionately about this topic because a good friend of mine recently got sucked into this. She spent over $3000 on meeting expenses, travel expenses, "testing fees", "licensing fees", and other miscellaneous stuff. She ended up extremely depressed and moved back home to Montana.

There is a guestbook that some Primerica "agents" run. I post there. They came to my site and said that I'm a "Pornographer", a "horse-faced slut", and ugly. HA! Doesn't bother me. But that shows you what kind of people Primerica will hire. If you wanna check out the site where they love to bash me: Sam's Guestbook

For Primerica horror stories and information about the company and their deceitful tactics:

Sorry to get all serious and stuff. I think everyone needs to know about this.

As someone who's gone through the job market a few times now, I'll tell you this. NEVER use a service that charges you. The reputable services will get a percentage of your salary from the company they place you with.

Something very similar like this happened to me about a year ago when I first strted looking for jobs after college.

In went in for an interview... next thing I new I was stuck in this seminar on selling Amway products (Not really amway but very similar... the company is called TREK Alliance)

2 hours I sat through lecture after lecture telling me how I can be a self made millionaire if I sign up to day to join there "company" for a mere $300 I can be trained, given my own "starter kit" and before I know it have my own team of door to FUCKING DOOR SALESMAN!!!!! AHHHH!!!! (I get so pissed when I think back to this nightmare) anyway after they drop the $300 bomb, I raise my hand and ask... "If I don't have a job... and no money... HOW THE F AM I SUPPOSE TO GIVE YOU $300?!??!?!!??!" and I walked out,

Fuck anyone who runs those scams... I hope they all get mistreated for gonorea and die a horrible death

Good warning for all out there. I just got fired from my job 2 weeks ago(thank you very much)so I'm currently on the job hunt. You always run across those scam ads in the paper like "Earn Big $$$", "Management Trainee - earn up to 100k, stock options, retirement package, and company concubine provided", or my personal favorite "Models Wanted- looking for new faces, earn top dollar, travel the world, become an international man of mystery" There's plenty of leeches out there looking to suck the unsuspecting dry.
