The guy from Dunkin Donuts. "Time to make the donuts", I think he was the same guy in the Sam Breakstone commercials. Would Tony the Tiger and Snap,Crackle and Pop count?

I was always afraid of "Speedy", the Alka Seltzer mascot. He just gave me the creeps.
And "Rosie" from Rosies Diner with her "quicker picker upper Bounty". I would lose my appetite in that diner just looking at her.

You're not gonna believe
this, but just this minute
they showed the old Tootsie
Roll Pop commercial on TV.
"Mr. Owl, how many licks
does it take to get to the
center of a TR pop?"
"1-2-3-(crunch)....Thrrrrreee!
"

I don't remember the store, but "What's the story Jerry?" was the catch phrase. It was a union member store. The guy had a hard hat on and he would say "That's the story"! What was the commercial for?

I remember "Jerry, what's the story" for an appliance chain called JGE...and you had to be a union member to shop there.
By the way, another local legend: Tom Carvel!

Going back quite a few years, I'm not sure if it's a memory or a halucination. Chips Ahoy cookies had a super hero called Cookie Man. The backs of the bag had a comic strip of him, and he was in a few commercials protecting chocolate chips and making sure the cookies had plenty of them.

Mr Clean scared me, especially that earring.
The Ajax white tornado was also freaky.
I never feared that Pillsbury Doughboy though.

That stupid red dot with arms from the 7-up commercials. The three old perv chef's from the Cinnamon Toast crunch commercials.
Remember, " "Want a punch? A HAWAIIAN PUNCH!"? I think that was the line from that scary ass big thing that used to push the worst drink ever. Yuck.
