i was at my brother-in-law's family for thanksgiving this year. they have a day after thanksgiving dinner tradition, where they have all the left overs after shopping. i came home, so i get nothing. sigh.

I got it even better, I went to my sisters yesterday and had an okay turkey dinner there. Tonight though my mom made a turkey more to the style she likes to cook it and it was really delicious. Plus I'm going to my girls house tomorrow where they'll be celebrating Thanksgiving on Saturday so it's like I'm having Thanksgiving 3 days in a row this year.

didnt touch any yesterday - had a nice leg with a side of stuffing and a baked sweet potato for lunch - rocket fuel to go outside and hang some lights.

My son got bored after an hour of helping me (he's 2.5) so he rode his bike, then we came in for cocoa and watched the second Peter Pan cartoon.

all in all a good day. We're down to another leg, some white meat, and some sides (a lot of potatoes and sweet potatoes) pies, and stuffing.

oh, and we're watching Wizard of Oz now.....

*Boneless turkey breast cooked in the "Set it and forget it" rotisseree grill. (NEVER had better)

*Cranberries with walnuts, mandarins, & pineapple.

*Breaded stringbeans with crushed walnuts.

*Stuffing & mashed potatoes

*Lasagna with sausage & meatballs

*Pumpkin pie
