Is there a way to tell them apart? My friend dates a Korean and he can ID every Asian he sees, whether it be a Chinaman, Japanese, all of them!
To me they all look the same but I have bad vision.

It was at the State-line diner where I first met Ada when this subject came up. I pointed out that she was Taiwanese, her one friend Japanese and the other Korean. She was blown away that I could tell so easily and particularly LOVED the fact that I distinguished her region's look and acknowledged Taiwan and China are two different places with 2 different types of people (a very sensitive subject for the Taiwanese). She was one of the most naturally beautiful women I have ever laid eyes on. Some guys have all the luck!

I seem to remember seeing something on PBS at one time that the group of people we think of as Japanese are really Korean. They migrated to Japan thousands upon thousands of years ago. The native Japanese look more like Hawaian.

I've had a coupla girlfriends who were Japanese majors- no! not in their army!, but in college. They told me that in Japan 15 years or so ago, they shut down some archeological digs because they were finding out that the noble families were descendants of either the Ainu or the Koreans, I forget which.
They've got this racial superiorority thing still going strong in Japan and this was messing everything up.

I took the test based on this belief. From my experience, Japanese people are darker skinned than Chinese or Koreans. However, my score proves that I know nothing about nobody.
