It looks better than Gigli or Daredevil

This is the only trailer you need:
"Ben Affleck's last movie bombed....
He has a high maintenence girlfriend and a gambling problem....
This holiday season, Ben Affleck needs...
a PAYCHECK"

How fucking funny is it that his next film after Gigli is called "Paycheck". I am madly in love with Uma after seeing Kill-Bill.
Paycheck-list:
Pros:
John Woo
Uma!
Cons:
Ben Affuck
Plot looks like his buddy's movie (The Borne Identity)
Plot looks like Total Recall
That picture of Ben looks like The 6th Day

Pros:
John Woo
Eh. Woo hasn't exactly been batting 1.000 with his movies made in this country.

Windtalkers (2002) -sucked
Mission: Impossible II (2000) -Great
Face/Off (1997) -Awesome. One of the best movie concepts ever.
Broken Arrow (1996) -Good action movie

Agreed - I think this is his first US movie that they actually mention his name in the commercial.
He's been here for 10 years now, and (aside from some television projects) here's what he's done as a director and producer:
Paycheck (2003)
Bulletproof Monk (2003) (producer)
Windtalkers (2002)
Mission: Impossible II (2000)
Black Jack (1998)
Big Hit, The (1998) (producer)
The Replacement Killers(1998) (executive producer)
Face/Off (1997)
Broken Arrow (1996)
Hard Target (1993)
A few of those that were all right - I do love that goofy FACE/OFF - some that were lousy. Nothing that comes close to THE KILLER, A BETTER TOMORROW (1&2), HARD BOILED or the brutal BULLET IN THE HEAD.
Instead of giving him huge budgets, and big name stars, they need to simply give him no money and Chow Yun-Fat, and leave them alone.
Actually, his next movie scheduled does have Chow in it, but it also has Nick Cage - LAND OF DESITINY.

Hey, I had to come up with something. At least Woo has made more than one good movie, something Ben hasn't done yet.
You take away John Woo and the only good thing about this film is Uma, which is probably accurate and I'll be skipping this film and watch Kill Bill again.

You're also forgetting how bad Phillip K. Dick adaptions have turned out, with few exceptions like Blade Runner.

Minority Report was good. Imposter had a Bomb in it's rib cage.

I think it will be closer to Minority Report than Blade Runner...i think the concept is good..we'll see how it goes. I am a big john woo fan...although i like the concept of windtalkers too when i saw the trailer...and it sucked.
it does remind me a bit of Bourne Identity...with the lack of memory and things left behind..

Ohhhhhhh.
I thought this would be a discussion from a Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous episode where they tour the digs of Johnny Paycheck.
Sorry.

Actually Affleck's been in some good movies:
Dazed and Confused
Chasing Amy
Good Will Hunting
Dogma
Boiler Room
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
Shakespeare in Love
Of course some may dissagree with this list. But I think they are good(Well, I'm not that fond of Shakespeare in Love, but people seem to like it). Some people love Armageddon which I hate.
Ben Affleck can be in a good movie, as long as he's not the Star (or if he's one of the stars as long as Kevin Smith is directing not just doing a cameo)
