I was looking at some Kid Rock discs at Tower Records today. What's good? I heard him do some kind of country rock on O&A a long time ago...I would be into that, but not the metal rap. Does he have anything that's mostly country rock or traditional rock?

Rebel Without A Cause has "Only God Knows Why", but that is the only country style track on the disk.
Cocky has a bunch, so if you want singing, I would go with that one. It has the duet with Sheryl Crow "Picture", plus "Lonely Road of Faith", "Midnight Train To Memphis", "Baby Come Home", and "Drunk In The Morning"

The Newest one that just came out in November or this month I cannot recall the name I would recommend it is basically all country rock and I believe you would be pleased.

I used to get him confused with Chris Rock because they both were in "Minority Report."

I hear Snoogans has some good songs. Maybe he'll sing some for you:
"Message Board Blues"
"One Blunt Shy Of Success"

I'll see your album and raise you one concert. I saw Kid Rock summer of whenever at PNC arts Center whenever Devil with a Cause was huge, and I gotta tell ya you forget how huge that album was then, how many tracks on radio, and the show with Joe C and Uncle Kracker and I sound like a 14 year old [you're welcome, keith/electric sex], but that concert rocked.
He played a shitload of covers, which was fine with me because I didn't know shit about his songs except for what was on radio. But it was pretty friggin cool; I mean a total spectacle, not a deep musical experience here; we're talking the KISS of white bad boy rap. As in all guilty pleasure songs, we have our guilty pleasure concerts, and so, off to start a thread...

There was The Polyfuse Method which came out in 94 I think. Grits & Sandwiches is pretty good too. I really liked him a whole hell of a lot better when he was just a wsie ass white kid from the Detroit ghetto. Devil Without A Cause was ok and the tour he did in small clubs with MonsterMagnet was pretty damn good. Too bad he had to go and ruin himself and start getting all serious and maturing as a musician. Sometimes artists are better off soundng like they are having fun.
