It was fitting that they were playing Michael Jackson on this F'ed up radio station because it was perverse that they were calling something new that is so old. And it is also perverse that as this station fails so miserably and has no listeners that nobody thought of the idea of at least putting Ron and fez back on so they would have that slot being listened to. Than they could put on whatever shit music they want the rest of the day.

Let's see... in order to have a month-to-month breakdown before the ratings were made public by Arbitron, which was 5PM today, you would have to be a subscriber to Arbitron.

Are you a "radio insider"? Where's YOUR breakdown? Should I cower before you?

Are you telling me that if they were doing months of .8 and .7 that they trended up a FULL POINT in a month? I find that hard to believe, but if you can point out these "monthly numbers" to me, I'll believe it.

Horseshit. If you're using LTW's decline to justify WNEW's numbers, it's not working. WNEW jumped the gun on LTW by 2 weeks. That's it. 2 weeks doesn't equate the kind of rating WNEW pulled.

Funny, Allen Sniffen said that LTW's decline may have played a part in WNEW's jump. Who is parrotting who? In my original post, I said two things - I said it's a 1.7, and maybe it's time to stop bashing WNEW.

You're forgetting something. WNEW and WLTW were both "lite" stations in this book. Maybe WLTW's decline might have to do with the fact that the format change to a real AC station WAS WORKING.

And what you people don't understand is that WNEW didn't fire Ron and Fez. Infinity transferred them, big fucking difference.

WNEW fired Ferrall - they gave him severance and said "Get lost".

I sound like a broken record, but Infinity bent over backwards so Ron and Fez could have a chance to succeed in DC. From broadcasting in NYC to prepare to move down there to everything else. R&F were in a very unique situation that I've never seen in radio before.

The girlfriend/wife analogy is very relevant here. You guys dated for a few years, had a kid. You had some fun. The girl cheated on you and did something that broke your heart. However, she took care of the kids; made sure they had everything they needed. The girlfriend/wife turned around and dated a few other guys, and all you people do is still complain about the girlfriend and her ex's.

She's moved on. Maybe you guys should too.

It's like you're a bunch of radio station stalker/psycho ex's.
