Hey, since the question was bought up on Christmas, what the hell....
I already heard that I'm going to be working at 12:00 - 8:00 A.M. new years Eve and it BETTER not be longer than that.
Anyone else out there know that they're going to be working on the Eve/Day?

Working a full day today, and back in at noon tomorrow. On-call the whole time. Not too bitter, because I'm gonna use the comp time to extend my second honeymoon in April.

I have to work util midnight tonight. So I will rush home to get in before all of the drunks are out on the road tonight.
In the Washington Post on Sunday a cop said they arrest more drunk drivers on Super Bowl Sunday than they do on New Years.
Happy New Years everyone.

Holy Christ in Heaven, i had to work last night. Generally, our Sun-Thurs hours are 7a-12a. But, because it was New Years Eve, we stayed open until 3am (whic is how late we close on fri and sat). While normally unpleasant, the situation was exacerbated by the fact that we only had one host(myself) two servers and a manger on duty. this isnt because of callouts, either, it was becasue the GM scheduled 4 people for new years eve. We are the only restaraunt in the area opened that late in the area so we got slammed. I didnt get home until 5 in the goddamn morning. HAPPY FUCKING NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
