New Redskins Coach?

I'm a Redskins fan in NY and I'm a little scared that Fassel could end up in DC. I've read nothing but bad things every day for two seasons about the Giants and don't want him there. Couldn't Snyder find someone else? What about those assistants from New England?

Are you kidding. Fassell is an awesome coach. He just lost the team this year. It happens to everyone after a while.

Fassel is fine. Not awesome, but fine. He relies too much on gimmick coaching, guarantees and shit, but he's better than Spurrier.

Fassel is a good coach. He just didnt fit in well with the Giants because they needed more of a disciplinarian coach rather than coach thats gonna be their friend. Plus if Fassel does go to the Giants, odds are that Dick Jauron, who is a great defensive coordinator, will come in as well.

And is it just me, or does anyone else think that Dan Snyder is the worst thing that ever happened to the NFL?

I think Fassell would be better off going to to Arizona. The Raiders are too old, the Redskins' offensive line is as bad as the the Giants,and Chicago seems like a perennially lost organization.
I think he was/is a good coach. He just needs a little more depth than what Accorsi gave him to work with this year.

Washington is a black hole for coaches, and Phoenix is a black hole for football. I think Fassel would do best in Chicago. It would be much the same situation he had when he came to New York. Under-achieving team with a "washed up" QB a solid Defense, and a few bad years ahead to draft well.

I dont know who's gonna be dumbe enough to coach in washington, but i think that denny green will end up in phoenix because they will let him be GM as well, something that Snyder will never allow.

As a lifelong Skins fan, I am beyond depressed about all of this. The best I can hope for now is that Snyder takes the team to Los Angeles ("The Los Angeles Redskins!") and we get an expansion team and rename it, and start from scratch, like they've done in St. Louis, Baltimore and Houston.

I hear the name "Bullets" is still available.
