What was the best movie you saw last year?

Even though there are plenty I still haven't seen yet (Master & Commander, House of Sand and Fog, Cold Mountain, Station Agent, In America, The Cooler, Mystic River), for me it would be Lost in Translation, which I thought was excellent - a close second would be Whale Rider, with LOTR: ROTK up there too. I also enjoyed 21 Grams and Kill Bill.

Kill Bill Vol 1 with Return of the Fucking King right behind it.

Lost in Translation was great as well. X2 and Nemo round out the top 5.

Wow no Matrix, huh? That was supposed to rule the box office!

Toss up between "Lost in Translation" and "American Splendor" or "Big Fish".
