Anyone be interested in flag football

[Snoogans]

this is obviously limited to area, but i was online and found a local flag football league. its 9 man teams, and set up with rules much like arena football, even allowing alot of contact in blocking for a public league. obviously, because of refs and insurance, its a pay thing.
its 1500 total for the team for the year, and figuring 10 people(1 back up) its only 150 per person, thats not bad. Consider if you win your division you get 500, each playoff game is 500, and the champ pays 2 g's. and 4 out of the 5 division teams make the playoffs

to watch what? its 9 people at a time on a hundred yard field, i was hopin with you guys and some of my friends to get 13-15 so we could have a few guys play only one way. it would keep them fresher and let people play to their strengths. it would also make it around 100 dollars and everyone would play, we could just have O and D specialists

yea, backups play alot, people obvioulsy are gonna get tired on hundred yard fields,

i played football, i do help coaching, so for however many people sign up, they will all have a position on either offense or defense.
id also come up with some schemes and shit to help out

Snoogs I'm in, but keep in mind we wont win anything. I play in a league in NY, and the teams are insane. I play with a bunch of athletes, and we are decent and only made it to the first round of playoffs. The lineman are gigantic.

its fair points funk, but being that i made plays, i should know how to recognize them.your better off with me at QB against organization. i can read D and pick apart, but if everyone is just doin whatever, then it gets tougher. im actually better in leagues like this.

and i was a SS in HS, so i know what DB's are tryin to do

I would love to have a quarterback challenge...that would be great....I QB'd one of the greatest Rowan Intramural flag football teams to a 7-0 loss in the finals in 2002. The other team chose to opt to give us the ball at the start of both halves so they could choose which way they went....turned out to be the smartest thing they ever did.....we were up against 40 mph winds in our face the whole time....it sucked.

But, in all honesty, I am lazy and don't enjoy long drives...especially long drives to be athletic so i'll take a pass....but i'd love a board event to be based on some sort of football dealy (doesn't have to be official) maybe throwing ball in big garbage cans for points, making a target on the wall and putting blue chalk on the tips of our balls to indicate accuracy, long distance throw with minus yards for innaccuracy and i'm sure we can come up with others

And, Dave east side...I'll be listening and awaiting your beckon call..can you make it within the 3 to 4 o'clock hour so I can be sure to be awake.

I know about reading defenses and timing plays...i don't want to quarterback a team again...i played with those guys for 3 years and only played QB b/c the best intramural QB i've ever seen graduated...Knew the team and the offense really well so that the only reason I did well

But i've always loved those QB challenges that they show from like hawaii...if we could set up some good ones I am in
