The author imparts his own feelings of inferiority upon the rest of us.
He ignores our deep cultural ties that go back for centuries.
He fails to understand that there will always be times where allies disagree on one point or another.
He fails to understand how we went from being the cool nation of the world to being a pariah.
He fails to understand that part of leadership is convincing others to do what they may not have done ordinarily.
