OK guess I'm first. Details:

J-Dubs and WB agreed to this contest. They each agreed: Whoever could break into their OWN car first and start it up; they won the Beamer.

Ron said go, and all were surprised as WB pulls a bat out from under the car, smashes in the window, gets in, and starts it up; definately under 10 seconds. J-Dubs wasn'y even close.

WB got the keys, drove it around the lot, and is now gloating.

And J-Dubs is now saying it's a HOAX, the X3 wasn't theres to Give away. No one gets the X3, Shondel in Sales helped make it sound believable, and WB just got Punk'd, and has a car with a broken window.

I'm just reporting what I'm hearing folks...

[Edit: Sticky, you listening to this? Anyone else??]

If this is real, I'm surprised that Wonderboy doesn't sound pissed. I wonder if he'll snap on-air.

well, I'll tell you this much...while it was a great practical joke, he should get some sort of retribution....he broke the window under false pretenses....we need a lawyer

Geeze...I feel really bad for Wonderboy.

They're trying WAY too hard to break him down. Leave him alone, he's not going to be Al Dukes.

im 99% buying this.

anyway, perrynoid just called in with the funniest line EVER. He said the Cosmic Circus will give WB a new House if he Burns up his Apartment. THAT is a line I am actually Jealous of not thinking of.

TheMojoPin

Now THAT'S going to be a cold ride home...

And here I thought Wonder was all badass for taking the bat to the window.

But Ron's right...if he had been killed by the truck he almost hit as he was taking his "victory lap" it would have been the icing on the cake.

GREAT BIT.

i thought the perrynoid line could've went straight to a comedy pyramid so I wrote in the following:

I'll give him a brand new pair of shoes if he'll just throw his old pair up in the telephone wires

ron didn't read it

Sheeesh I had a window broken on a Honda Accord; and no matter how many times I vacuumed and dug out, essentially I kept finding glass constantly, for months, even later. Never got it all out.

Wonderboy really sounded humorless and wounded here - this would have been par for the course with the cruel bastards on Stern, who would have laughed it off.

THe one thing that pissed me off was when WB actually told J-Dubbs that he "Finally did something funny for the air."

Bullshit! J-Dubs has been a consistant producer of content on the show! Nut Put and Fire, Ice Challenge, plus his general "can do" attitude, J-Dubs has always brought stuff to the table.

WB, by not shaking J-Dubs hand at the end, really looked like a punk, and not in the way he thinks is cool.

It's a good thing Wonderboy can control his temper.

If it had been me, I would have tried to break every single one of their windows and most likely their heads as well.

Hmmm, maybe I have some anger management issues.

At least they're going to replace his window (though I hope he sealed the window with good plastic last night -- damn snow); that elevates it from being a classless move to a cruel but sublimely hilarious joke.

Ceci n'est pas une signature.

Why do I still have a 0.000001% suspicion that it was a bit and they'll come on and say we all got Punk'd. Unfortunatlye; the 99.999999% wins out.

If only because, as a caller brought up, employees of radio stations basically can't win things given away by the station they work at. Seems logical enough; I mean, wouldn't we think something was up after Ron wins a trip to Reno five times in a row?

Anyway, it should be an 'interesting' show. I do feel bad for the guy; but this was something they agreed to. The contest I mean, not the outcome.

I will say this, there is not many worse 'this fucking blows' situations then cleaning out and then cardboarding-duct taping a broken window. And thats a back one. Is his car even drivable? Will he have his head stuck out like Ace Ventura?

Oh man, that's bad, really. it hurt listening lat night.

It wasn't a bit.

I taped his window up with clear Duck tape before he left, so while his head won't be stuck out the window, it will probably end up stuck to the window.

Breaking out the window wasn't a part of the original idea; that was kind of a snowball effect, but I figured the studio would spring for it, which Cameron agreed to. I thought Dubbs was really sorry about that happening, and I saw him get that sinking feeling of when a joke goes bad. WB's just frustrated about being in the barrel all the time. The reason he takes it so easily is because he wants the best for the show. The problem with this one is that it comes from Dubbs, who's making the most of the pseudo-ongoing bit about WB being in the barrel while he's the kid who can do no wrong. It's good radio, but it's hard for WB to take from a peer when he's taking so much from the boys. He's got to figure out how to crawl out of it or grow really thick skin. I don't think I could do his job, part of which is to be abused. But it's got to be rough. I think revenge is the answer to this one.

This is the problem with practical jokes. They just keep elevating until someone gets hurt.

Well, yerdaddy, Ron admitted on-air that they knew ahead of time, about J-Dubs thingy, not WB breaking his window; so...

I'm not saying it's a bit; I'm saying R+F knew more then they were letting on, said so the next day, and I had that vibe.

Resume Party.

Yeah Ron & Fez knew about it, but it wasn't their idea and WB wasn't in on it.

And WB really did almost get creamed by the truck full of port-o-johns.
