I've seen the trailer a few times and one thing that I don't like is the fat that they are making the zombies like the Return Of The Living Dead zombies.
They are gonna run after the people. They arent gonna be the slow moving ones.

Is this really necessary? I mean, I hope it's good, but I have my doubts.

I want to check it out, but I just get the feeling it's gonna be awful (see Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake). Plus, since when do zombies run?

I enjoyed that TCM remake.
But I dont think this is gonna be that good.
I'll see it, and probably own it on DVD, but I dont think I'll love it. Not just because I'd compare it to the original, I just think they are gonna make it to " Hollywood ". You know with all the name brand actors and all.

This photo of "running" zombies just ruined it for me. WTF! It doesn't even look scary. I remember going to see the original on opening day because the preview of the arms breaking through the wall was fucking frightening at the time. (I was only 10 but still) The original was one of the greatest horror movies EVER. This DOES look more like Return of the Living Dead. What a jip! George Romero must be shitting a pickle.

I would remake it with a bunch or ravers living together, growing pot, throwing parties, torturing zombies, I'd have a monster truck with a spiked wheel on the front, I would sleep on a bed of hashish (when I wake up, I just pack some of my bed into a bowl), I would have lots of sex and yes there would be one weirdo who would have sex with a zombie slave (after removing teeth and fingers) I would make Tom Savini wince. LET ME MAKE THE NEXT ONE DAMMIT!!

I'd hold back judgement for a bit. I saw the trailer; and it looked pretty fucking scary, especially regarding the certain parents of a daughter [this isn't a spoiler, just something in the trailer]; and people in the Theatre were quite audible, plenty of gasps.

i need a good zombie movie, there hasnt been one in many many years. the closest thing was resident evil, and that was more of an action movie than a zombie movie. although i havent seen 28 days later yet, hopefully thats a good movie.......

I like 28 Days Later but it wasnt zombie in the sense you'd hope.
They disease and premise makes it that way, but the antagonists themselves are more like the Crazies in that old movie.
