This is one serious animal. Or was. I wonder what this does to the "Tiger was Helping Siegfried and Roy" Theory.

[Edit: Posted this after hearing the women named in the article who tried to hold on to the lady. She tried to describe what was going on, but I turned it off. She was that shaken. Didn't need to see more. Yow...]

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- The 110-pound mountain lion believed to have attacked two mountain bikers Thursday -- killing one of them -- was "stalking" sheriff's deputies when a helicopter spotted the big cat, a discovery that may have saved their lives.

I went to college in Colorado & that kind of stuff was on the news all the time. Mountain lions would come down, find their way onto someone's porch, and eat their cocker spaniel.

Personally, I would go for a beagle. Now that's good eatin'!
