I hate to bother the regulars with what is most likely an old discussion, but I've been out of the loop mostly since they left NY (I'm only hearing a couple things recently, so I've missed out on alot). But I was just curius if someone could tell me some of the new characters and their relation to the show; like J Dubs, Cameron, Crazy Jenny (?) Elvas, etc. Thanks

The Church got more then it could have dreamed of when, under pressure from all sides, the GM and PD of WNEW were suspended and later fired, and the Opie and Anthony show was cancelled. The first official announcement on the station was during the a live Ron and Fez show; and such began a period where R & F would founder in the slowly crumbling station, often the only live on-air show at WNEW for a period of time until, as was expected by some and a shock for others, WNEW flipped formats in the classic radio way: with absolutely no warning to anyone, including the on-air talent. Ron and Fez had lost a show on a top FM station in the number 1 radio market in the USA.

Speculation as to what would become of the R & F show were answered, when Ron and Fez were transferred to WNEW's sister station, WJFK; a Washington DC based talk station.

SatCam's Note: For months, Ron and Fez broadcast from the WNEW studios to Washington DC. In June 2003, Ron and Fez finally made the move to D.C., and currently broadcast from the WJFK studios. The entire staff was denied jobs in DC , including Billy Staples, Hawk, Wonderboy, the intern Hairy Elvis, Mikey D., and others. (Producer Rory Hamptons resigned a few weeks earlier for a possible production career.) According to reliable media sources, it was reported that WJFK wanted a new Ron and Fez staff, and denied jobs for R & F's all star crew. Ron and Fez currently broadcast mid-days and nights.

JDubs - semi producer, does everything phones, stunts, and works with EL Jefe on the Hideout. Originally from Detroit is part of the new staff at WJFK.
Cameron - He is the boss he is in charge of all programming at WJFK plus other duties.
Crazy Jen is a listener from Philly area who loves the show especially FEZ. She is up for any challenge and frequently goes head to head with JDubs on various stunts. She recently got a tattoo of Fez's name near her tookie.
Elvish - David Lee Kinison - part of the cosmic circus, reall nice guy, looks like sam kinison and dr. zathus from planet of the apes. He is recently sober and is an elvis nut.

Granted, I've only been back in the loop for a lil while now. Maybe i missed them.

Elvis was in the studio in DC when he lost his virginity. I think Rory called in when the found out that French Bread Pizza was pregnant. After leaving, the others only appeared on the show that was broadcast from the Hard Rock.

well a pseudo member of the ny crew Black Earl calls in from time to time, and I think Al Dukes has been heard from.
