I guess this is geared toward the XM fans, but it's also for people thinking about getting satellite radio....
On Feb 1, XM's channel lineup is changing. The new lineup can be found here. (http://www.xmradio.com/lineup/) Four channels are being ditched... one is Special X (30), which I never really listened to. The other three are Spanish stations.... so now I'm trying to win the WLIR fans, because XM is actually DITCHING Spanish music. :) (Not altogether, they're going from 5 stations to 2.)
Even more importantly, XM is going 100% commercial-free on all 68 music channels.
They're also adding 21 channels for local traffic & weather... NY and DC are on that list.
And one of the new channels is punk/hardcore/ska, and that's fuckin cool. The classic alternative channel might be cool too.
Suck on that, Sirius.
