OK, ok I know Bar 9 Tuesday's are dead but just hear me out and none of that fake hearing, either, what with the Miracle Ear and all. But I read the thread "One year since the day the laughter died" and got to thinking (and yes I do think when I'm not burying the neighbors'- things- in the backyard): how 'bout one last one (Bar 9 gathering)- tomorrow night? Come on! Why not, except for the fact that it's a weeknight, it'll be 10 degrees out, it's such short notice, you have a headache and a runny nose, you're a little short on cash, there's mice in your apartment/house, the neighborhood kids call you "The Pee-Keeper" behind your back, but besides that, why the sam hill not?!?!? I'm serious!! Yes, it's last minute but remember when we were a gang, dammit?! We were Ruthless. Fierce. We were like that gang from that movie where they shoot Uma Thurman in the head or at least that other movie where that gang goes through a secret cavern and finds a pirate ship and a hideous yet likeable giant named Sloth! It's true! Shit! Damn! So whad'ya say? One last time- like The Olden Days. I know this is a long shot but I'm gonna be there. Shoot.

Well, it was a low-key Bar 9 night, but no less fun than expected. (esp. when you consider the 80's rock musical stylings of "Almost Famous")

I iniitially thought I'd be there alone, but ES Dave, WS Claire, and Mr. & Mrs. Mikeyboy joined the fray even during the blizzard outside. We toasted our radio friends, while we missed our message board bud-days. Much appreciation to eveyone who fought the weather and came out to represent. (Unlike, say, Cybersoldier, Gmann....) :-)

One year out. We miss you Ron and Fez.
