i don't know why i had them still put away; but i recently pulled out my old FNM cds and have been listening to them like crazy since, and one thing is abundantly clear, damn they were good. Even after Jim Martin left the band they still had the shit. Even after all these years, the albums still hold up as great, and don't have that dated feeling you get from old cds.
Hell, Angel Dust is still one of the great albums.

i never heard Fantomas, anyone know if they're any good. Plus i think Patton had another band/ album around the same time that Fantomas came out, i can't think of the name though.

No, i know Mr. Bungle, i have California and Disco Volante, i was thinking of another Mike Patton band, which now that i looked, i think i was thinking of either Tomahawk, or a solo album he put out.

What a great band. I'm probably in the minority here, but one of my favorite albums of all time is "King for a Day, Fool for a Lifetime". What an awesome album.

Nice, 1992 that was must have been for the Angel Dust album, that must have been a great show.
i saw them in late 1997 at the Tradewinds, it was a damn good show, i wish i could have seen them when they were at their peak. limp bizkit opened up for them at the tradewinds show and the most of the time they were on, people were yelling korn songs at them.

I also saw Limp Bizkit open for FNM in 1997 at Roseland. They got booed off the stage.

Hey wow thats cool I finally have a reason to direct people to my site; since my stuff is boring.
If you wanna see a BUNCH of tickets from concerts I've been to; just click below; I have no idea why I started saving stubs, but I'm glad I did, and sadly many never made it.
And Yes, I saw Yes 10 times.
There five pages of older stubs from many many NJ/NY venues; maybe some of us were at a show together...
And you get to see who got famous and who didn't; as the first one shows; 311 having the warm up band: No Doubt. Things sure reversed there quick for those two bands.
Concert Tickets (http://www.miketheteacher.com/tix.html)
[remember theres 5 pages]

Doesn't everyone?
Thats the thing Mojo I guess I didn't coz there's SO many others; early on too from Asbury Park. You see the Ramones stub on the page there? I couldn't even drive then. I lived in Ocean Grove, and ya just walked down; the Ramones one week; Devo next; Blue Oyster Cult next; Benetar, and a few I'm sure are gone outta my head. It was great; it wasn;t a bar, so the Convention Hall and Paramount Theatre; you could go see a show at age 15.
Man I miss the old asbury boardwalk, dont get me going...

Love FNM. Just put their version of the Bee Gees "I Started A Joke" on a mixed CD (all covers). They do it "straight", just like the Commodores' "Easy" from a few years back.
Fantomas is odd to say the least. I have their first album, which appears to be the "soundtrack" to a comic book. There's a track for each frame. Their 2nd is all covers of movie theme songs. I d/l'd "Rosemary's Baby" and it creeped me out. Haven't picked up the CD yet, but I will. Their new one is gonna be even weirder, according to Patton. I've heard their live shows kill. What do you expect from Patton, Buzz from the Melvins and Dave Lombardo, the original Slayer drummer?
Tomahawk is OK. I've only heard a live concert I d/l'd. Sounded a bit like FNM, but more straightforward. No keys. I'd get either of their records (used) based on that performance.
