It makes perfect sense. There were many selections to choose from. We need to narrow them down so I advised Reeshy it would be wise to select 5 semi-finalists for the board to vote on in an effort to selct 3 final names to choose from. Then he should select 3 judges to choose a final name out of the 3 finalists. The system worked and went off without a hitch. He could be happy with any of the names he picked, and he trusted his selected panel of judges to administer a swift decision for a final name for him to adopt. The only thing that didnt make sense is waiting 10 days to get it to this point.

It all seems pretty simple. Reeshy said he was gonna do things and he did. I suggested an amendment and he agreed to it and took it forth. In his first post he said there would be judges to decide the final name. I added in a step to narrow the list from 500 to 3 choices.
