Whatever happened to the intro screen?

Why isn't there an intro screen anymore?
And in furtherance of discussion, what was your favorite RF.Net intro screen?

I was thinking the same thing today. I was thinking about the flash animation the site used to use.

My favorite one was the Christmas 2002 one,where the boys are sitting by the fire and Billy falls,grunting down the stairs. Awesome.

yeah, that was one of my favorites. i always thought it was a take off of a call heckler made when they first moved. he mentioned having a 200 ft tower to get the show now (nudge, nudge). and i close fluff?

Seriously, if I knew something was going to go up (i.e: Jeff asking me to draw something up) I get so sick of seeing the damn thing that I go (and have my favorites set to) the home page so I can surpass the animated abortion.

i enjoyed the one with the guy trying to get a signal of the show...sitting in his room with a cup or something up to his ear and wire hangers....just was a pretty funny way of showing how we all felt about hearing the show live
