Get those self-heating things that you can either wrap around you or stick on...a few different companies make them. Hot showers and baths work well, too. Some light stretching may help to loosen it up a little sooner. In the meantime, you just gotta ride it out. Take it from me, I have a 45-degree curve on my lower spine leaving me in pain a lot of the time. I'm 26 and have the spine of a 60-year old. Get well soon!
The only problem with reality is the lack of background music

Where does it hurt? If its just a pulled muscle, a little heat should do the trick. If your actual spine hurts, you should see a doctor as soon as possible.

Sounds like you probably pulled a muscle. I would probably take some advil, and if it's still bothering you after a week or it gets worse, go see a doctor. But go see one anyway if you're worried at all.

The best advice I got about a bad back was from my Uncle Larry who said, "Ketchup's!! I got Ketchup's all over me!!" which is why we had to send him "away."

Whenever I hurt mine (and I did this Saturday) I apply ice to the painful area. Only use heat if you want to loosen it up before you do an excercise. If you chill it, the swelling goes down and it numbs the area too. This is from my experience and in no way intended to diagnose or treat a specific health problem.
