Spiderman movie plot hole.

This has been bothering me for a couple of weeks now. Spiderman needs to protect his true identity, but there is one man who has seen him both as Spiderman and Peter Parker - the wrestling promoter. Now it's true he wasn't wearing his full Spiderman costume, only sweatpants and a ski mask but he did shoot web and pull of some serious Spidey moves in the ring. Afterwards, the promoter saw him without his mask on, even said he could've "taken that guy apart" after he was robbed, so obviously he saw the match and knew what Parker could do.

When Spidey shows up in the newspaper surely there would be a huge reward offered for his true identity. Based on not wanting to give Parker the whole amount after the wrestling match we know he has no scruples. Surely he would have no problem going to the press revealing his secret.

Just a thought.

Perhaps he was just an idiot who didn't make the connection.

Then again, its a movie about a kid who shoots organic webs out holes in his wrist.

Suspend your disbelief for 2 hours and just enjoy the movie.

peter parker wears glasses, spiderman doesn't. just like superman, and no one figured that out. But keep in mind, it's frigging comic book. it all makes sense within that fantasy logic.

Ofcourse there are plot holes. the biggest that a radioactive spider(updated to geneticly engineered spider) could transform a human into a human/spider. why is that ok, but bruce campbell not putting 2+2 together is a hangup for you?

the promorter doe snot know spideys name. and in the comic no one knew peters face at the wrestling event, he walked into the building with a mask on his face. then he beat bone saws ass and bone saw gave him his first costume.
