This guy has the right idea...

PRINCE GEORGE, British Columbia -- Phil Lee, a former construction worker in his 60s, says he'll use some of the nearly $100,000 (US$76,000) he won in the lottery to buy a less than reverent tombstone.

Lee said his headstone will read, "Been there, done that" and show "a champagne glass, a royal flush, a slot machine, a nude woman facing backwards and a stick of dynamite with a lit fuse."

He said he first thought he'd won the $25 million (US$19 million) top prize in the Super 7 draw last Friday, "so after I came down from the ceiling it took me two hours to realize what I actually had."

Unable to work because of lung problems from exposure to asbestos on construction projects, Lee said he also would buy a new set of teeth and some good walking shoes, share some of the money with his family and try "to break the Hollywood Casino" in Prince George.

i actually thought i hit the jersey pick 6 about 2 years ago. i had 5 out of 6 and instead of the 6th number being 17 (which i had) it was 7. DAMN YOU SEVEN!!!! i wound up with a little over 5,000 instead of the 11 million or whatever it was at the time...better yet change my tombstone to
"the most unlucky son of a bitch in the world, but boy was he handsome!"

I often wonder what I would want inscribed on my tombstone. I do not want to be buried or burned, rather, I feel most comfortable with being cryogenically frozen for a few thousand years and possibly being reanimated in the future. That's not going to happen unless I have hundreds of thousands of dollars and I'm frozen immediately after my death, so if it is an untimely one, chances are I'm going to rot in a coffin never to be seen again. How will people remember me? Will some futuristic emo/goth teenagers be smoking pot above my grave 200 years from now and saying "yeah maaaaaaaaaan, this tombstone is really deep....."? I could go Clint Eastwood style and do something western, like "Here lies Christopher B. - Rancher and Gunslinger - Once shot a man between the eyes at 100 yards with a blindfold on". On second thought, my name doesn't have the same ring to it as say, a "Doc Holiday" or "Six-shooter Jim". I could creep people out and have my tombstone say, "It doesn't matter who's in the grave you're standing on. Just know that anyone who reads this tombstone is cursed." Simple, effective, and it scares the shit out of all the superstitious cemetery dwellers. I could simply flat out lie and say, "The grave below is occupied by a very famous and influential person who is highly regarded in life but wishes to remain anonymous in death". Everyone would be like well who is THIS? The joke's on you dummy, i'm just another dead human. I think the best gimmick would be to be buried with a note in my coffin that reads, "I died penniless.", and have the tombstone say, "I've been buried with valuables worth millions of dollars. Dig at your own risk". So what would your tombstone say?

I don't want a tomb stone. I want to be cremated and tossed into a creek that flows through the fields I used to play in as a kid. I guess I should get a will or something. Who knows... If I don't make my plans known, I could end up buried in Fairfax.
