Spring Offensive planned in Pakistan

The other day, there was a report that a spring offensive is planned to hunt down Osama Bin Laden
in Pakistan and on the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Why the fuck would the media want to report this. This gives him more time to plan a counteroffensive effort on his part. The person who leaked this story to the media obviously works in the pentagon and should be dealt with accordingly. During WW2 There was a saying that stated "Loose lips Sink Ships"

A "spring offensive" in Afghanistan isnt exactly the Normandy Invasion. Winters in the mountains of Afghanistan are brutal and movement and activity by everybody slows down. The fact that they will start a "spring offensive" is a surprise to nobody, least of all bin Laden. It's just a term being used for public consumption.
