I think that this is a great idea,and it is heart warming to see a kid who lost his dad start this campaign. I am a volunteer Fireman here in North Jersey and I think this is a great idea what are your thoughts?

It's a great idea, but internet petitions aren't very effective. Write a letter to your congressman to get your voice heard.

its a good idea but it should not be on sept 11

Actually it gives your post less credibility. The snopes site notes that e-mail petitions are generally ineffective. There is a link to a web petition listed on snopes that would most likely be more effective than the petition you posted. Here's the link (http://www.PetitionOnline.com/91101/petition.html )

I think he meant that the site gives credibility to his post in that the email isn't a hoax.

I'm all for it, but despite the intentions, it just seems very wrong to have it on Sept. 11th.
