Is there an unspoken rule that only Ron gets to make gay jokes? There was a really tense moment last night when the new intern said something, and Fez got pretty angry. Ron does it all the time, though. Maybe Ron's just good at it.

I think it's busting on the boys at ALL, period. At least for the first few weeks. Seems like the new employees gotta take their turns on the barrel and be "hazed" before they can have their own shots, and even then, you gotta show some respect for the hosts.

I've always felt there was an unspoken rule about this - that only a very few, very select, people can make a joke about that and have Fez play along with it.

It's always a little uncomfortable with callers who, right away, go for that angle, thinking it will win them some points. An intern with his first time on the air needs to know the boundaries that he's allowed to play in.

The boys know what's funny what isn't.

Ronnie and Fezzie have been together for almost 20 years, so they can do that with each other. It's like a married couple; they can say the worst shit to each other. But if someone they don't really know comes out of left field and tries to break balls along with them, that newbie runs the risk of getting killed.
