First off, a disclamer:
I'm not really sure where this thread goes, so i slapped it right in here

Now, lets get to it!

Jeep has unveiled its new concept, the "Rescue", and it looks exactly, and i mean EX-ACT-LY, like the H2. I don't see how its a concept, if their car is already being sold by another company.

Here's the link. (http://cars.ign.com/articles/490/490265p1.html)

have you ever seen an H2? Looks more like an overloaded Wrangler than an H2.

It doesn't look like an H2 to me. Just what America needs... another 4WD gas guzzler.

But if they take them off-road, they may get a scratch! People only buy SUV's so that they can fit in with the other soccer moms.

I'm half-retarded...on my mother's side

I think people only like the higher up vehicles because they give a commanding view of the road. But, so many people have them now, plus with real trucks and bus's out there, its losing its advantage. I like driving high up too, but I see that these kinds of vehicles cost a lot to operate. Stay with a regular car. It is cool looking though. They are also making cars that have a higher stance now too though.

Okay, so they don't look exactly alike, but the similarities are more than coincidental. What bothers me more than anything is the total lack of originality on Jeep's part. I mean come on, concepts are supposed to be like nothing ever seen, and this is just a smaller H2.

Wait a second. Wasn't the H1 (then just called Hum-Vee or Hummer) just a truck that looked like a Large version of the Jeep Wrangler? Which was based on the "army Jeep"? The Hummer was just an updated Army Jeep.

So they make the H2 that fits a bit better on the roads of America, and that's based on the H1 Hummer just smaller, but the H1 is based on the Jeep just bigger.

So now you guys think Jeep is ripping Hummer off?

It's just a wrangler that's now bigger.
